Using Linuxbrew:


    Linuxbrew is a package manager that helps you install software to a home directory without using sudo.

    Install Linuxbrew

    In order to use Linuxbrew you have to install it. Paste at a Terminal prompt:

    $ ruby -e "$(wget -O-"
    $ echo -e 'export PATH="$HOME/.linuxbrew/bin:$PATH"\nexport MANPATH="$HOME/.linuxbrew/share/man:$MANPATH"\nexport INFOPATH="$HOME/.linuxbrew/share/info:$INFOPATH"' > ~/.bashrc && source ~/.bashrc
    $ brew update
    $ brew doctor

    and you are ready!

    Available packages

    $ brew search

    Install packages

    $ brew install $WHATEVER_YOU_WANT
